Welcome to the Career Workshop Information Center for FrontierRising. Through a variety of skill-based workshops, you will learn about interviewing techniques, fine-tuning your resume and how best to deal with change. You will also find sessions that will help you gain a better understanding of how to prepare for the future now by building a well-thought out care er and education plan and take action. Workshops are offered Live on the Web and will accommodate your busy schedules.
Rosanna Burkey and Almeria Grant, Career Counselors, will be visiting as many Frontier work sites as we can during the months of September, October and November 2019 and will be raffling off some great gifts and answering any questions you may have.
Rosanna Burkey
Rosanna brings over 20 years of experience working with adults in the Telecommunications, Building products, food manufacturing, and textile industries, as well as, with the CWA, United Textiles, Chocolate Workers, and Steel Workers unions.
Rosanna holds a Master's degree in Organizational Management & Leadership and is currently working towards her Doctorate degree in Adult Education at Penn State University. Rosanna considers a day successful when she has helped at least ONE person along the way. She is looking forward to working with Frontier, the Frontier Rising program and Frontier associates. Rosanna is also looking forward to applying her educational and work-related experiences along with her high energy level to helping Frontier associates along their path of lifelong learning.

Almeria Grant
Almeria Grant’s impressive background consists of over 32 years of Telecommunications; and with the CWA. She has experience in the area of Career Development and Human Resources as well as 10 years as an Independent Career and Educational Counselor.
Almeria earned her BA in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from Christopher Newport University and her MA Degree in Education and Human Resource Development from George Washington University.
Almeria is an exceptional counselor, facilitator and trainer. Almeria has instructed in both business and the community college level and has a passion for the "adult learner". She believes in life-long learning and she is elated to see adults work toward and reach their education and career goals.
